Haggis festival design contest

HIGHLAND Haggis Festival organisers are seeking entries to design a haggis-themed gondola for Nevis Range.

The winning design will be adapted and wrapped around a gondola in time for the festival in Spean Bridge on April 1 and 2. Entries from groups of two or more people under 17, in any artistic format and showing how the design covers each of the four sides of the gondola, must be submitted by Tuesday February 28.

The winners will be treated to a trip on the gondola followed by refreshments in the Snowgoose restaurant.

Nevis Range managing director Peter MacFarlane said: ‘ We are excited to be working with the organisers of the Highland Haggis Festival.’
