Pupil short­listed for Film G award

AN ARD­NA­MUR­CHAN High School pupil has been short­listed for a FilmG Gaelic film award, con­tin­u­ing the proud tra­di­tion of the school hav­ing nom­i­na­tions for the awards ev­ery year since they started en­ter­ing.

Kate Bradley (S5) is in the fi­nal four in the new Sports Re­port cat­e­gory for her com­men­tary piece from the Va­le­ria Fraser shinty cup fi­nal in Fort Wil­liam.

She will at­tend the pres­ti­gious FilmG award cer­e­mony in Glas­gow later this month.

Kate said: ‘I en­joyed learn­ing dif­fer­ent sports com­men­tary skills from pro­fes­sion­als like Hugh Dan MacLen­nan and am look­ing for­ward to the awards night in Glas­gow this month.’

Gaelic teacher Mr John MacInnes said: ‘ We are de­lighted that Kate’s hard work and ef­fort in en­ter­ing this com­pe­ti­tion have been re­warded with this de­served nom­i­na­tion.’

Kate Bradley has been short­listed for a FilmG award in the Sport’s Re­port cat­e­gory.
