Pupil shortlisted for Film G award
AN ARDNAMURCHAN High School pupil has been shortlisted for a FilmG Gaelic film award, continuing the proud tradition of the school having nominations for the awards every year since they started entering.
Kate Bradley (S5) is in the final four in the new Sports Report category for her commentary piece from the Valeria Fraser shinty cup final in Fort William.
She will attend the prestigious FilmG award ceremony in Glasgow later this month.
Kate said: ‘I enjoyed learning different sports commentary skills from professionals like Hugh Dan MacLennan and am looking forward to the awards night in Glasgow this month.’
Gaelic teacher Mr John MacInnes said: ‘ We are delighted that Kate’s hard work and effort in entering this competition have been rewarded with this deserved nomination.’
