Mountains of fun this February

THIS month Fort William plays host to a mega mountain festival.

Nevis Landscape Partnership is delighted to be launching this year’s festival from Nevis Range following the famous torchlit descent on February 15 at 7pm.

Its project Celebrating the Wild, which is being delivered in partnership with Fort William Mountain Festival, is something everyone can get involved in. Whether you want to get your adrenaline racing with Carpe Diem, celebrate the pioneers of mountain culture at the Mountain Legends exhibition at Lochaber Geopark’s Visitor Centre or learn about the local landscape from living legend Noel Williams there really is something for everyone.
