CalMac ferry chief decides to stay

CALEDONIAN MACBRAYNE’S managing director and chief executive officer Martin Dorchester has reversed his decision to resign.

Following last week’s announcement of radical ferry service reviews by Transport Minister Humza Yousef, Mr Dorchester has been persuaded to stay in his current post and lead the organisation through this new chapter.

Mr Dorchester said: ‘I am excited by the opportunities presented by this review.’
