Roxana McWhinnie is the spa manager at The Stables, and with a degree in spa management from the University of Derby as well as extensive experience, guests can feel confident they are in good hands.

‘Our treatments are in depth and personalised, our products are all natural and each treatment is tailored to the individual,’ Roxana said. ‘There’s no other experience like this in Oban. Each client has a little bit of extra time, so you are not rushed, and you get the proper consultation, along with the aftercare and advice that you need.’

Roxana and her team offer everything one expects from a complete service spa, including massages, facials, body treatments such as wraps and scrubs, and beauty services such as waxing and nails- plus a few that clients won’t find anywhere else in the area, such as frozen rose quartz crystal facials. Each treatment is specially designed to nourish the body, mind and soul, and includes ishga and ESPA natural products.

‘We want local residents to feel they are welcome to come here for regular treatments,’ Roxana said. ‘ You are not that far, but you’ll feel like you are a million miles away. You can come here and really switch off.’
