Change for better – the writing is on ground

Volunteers and supporters of Oban Viewpoint Group laid a mile of pennies near the site of its proposed new community centre at a fundraiser on Saturday. Group chairman Andrew Macdonald said the majority of the planned location for the centre, near to the railway line, had been cleared and they hope to continue removing scrub from the area this summer. The group has a social media page that can be found under the name of Soroba Community Centre.
