Kilmory 3 Aberdour 3

Aberdour stay top of Marine Harvest South Division 1 after they picked up a hard- earned point following a 3-3 draw with Kilmory in their 2pm throw up at MacRae Park.

It was a heavy surface but David MacDougall mastered the conditions, dribbling the ball into the danger area to put Aberdour 1- 0 ahead with 15 minutes played.

It only took Kilmory four minutes to restore parity through Andrew Cunningham, although Aberdour had edged the first 45 minutes.

Aberdour put themselves in a strong position with a blistering start to the second half. John Martin Philips made it 2-1 on 46 minutes with Angus Thorburn adding a third just 60 seconds later.

Kilmory fought back and Alastair MacArthur made it 3-2 on 55 minutes.

Boosted by the goal, Kilmory went in search of a leveller and it arrived on 62 minutes when Andrew Cunningham got his second.

Aberdour are a point clear at the top of the table, ahead of Tayforth who have a game in hand.
