The Best of the West Fes­ti­val of mu­sic, art, crafts, food and drink is an ‘end of sea­son’ show­case held in the grounds of the mag­nif­i­cent In­ver­aray Cas­tle from 8-10th Septem­ber 2017. A cel­e­bra­tion of mu­sic that shines a light on Ar­gyll as a prom­i­nent and world-class din­ing, drink­ing and travel des­ti­na­tion, this year sees Best of the West ex­pand its of­fer­ing with the in­tro­duc­tion of a Fri­day night pro­gramme.

Mu­sic head­lin­ers in­clude: Skip­in­nish and Heron Val­ley (Fri­day 8th Septem­ber); Sk­er­ryvore, Blazin’ Fid­dles and Hunter and the Bear (Satur­day 9th Septem­ber) and Eddi Reader, Tide Lines and Dr Hip & the Blues Oper­a­tion (Sun­day 10th Septem­ber) with many more bands set to play through­out the week­end.

Masterchef: The Pro­fes­sion­als 2016 win­ner Gary Maclean is all set to cook up a storm at The Best of the West Fes­ti­val Kitchen on Sun­day 10th Septem­ber 2017. Gary joins a star-stud­ded line-up of celebrity chefs al­ready booked for The Best of the West Fes­ti­val Kitchen, in­clud­ing: Graeme Cheev­ers, head chef of Restau­rant Martin Wishart, Cameron House Ho­tel, Loch Lomond and Paul Leonard, head chef at The Isle of Eriska Ho­tel Restau­rant, both Miche­lin star restau­rants.
