Best Of The West Festival

The Best of the West Festival of music, art, crafts, food and drink is an ‘end of season’ showcase held in the grounds of the magnificent Inveraray Castle from 8-10th September 2017. A celebration of music that shines a light on Argyll as a prominent and world-class dining, drinking and travel destination, this year sees Best of the West expand its offering with the introduction of a Friday night programme.

Music headliners include: Skipinnish and Heron Valley (Friday 8th September); Skerryvore, Blazin’ Fiddles and Hunter and the Bear (Saturday 9th September) and Eddi Reader, Tide Lines and Dr Hip & the Blues Operation (Sunday 10th September) with many more bands set to play throughout the weekend.

Masterchef: The Professionals 2016 winner Gary Maclean is all set to cook up a storm at The Best of the West Festival Kitchen on Sunday 10th September 2017. Gary joins a star-studded line-up of celebrity chefs already booked for The Best of the West Festival Kitchen, including: Graeme Cheevers, head chef of Restaurant Martin Wishart, Cameron House Hotel, Loch Lomond and Paul Leonard, head chef at The Isle of Eriska Hotel Restaurant, both Michelin star restaurants.
