Fraud case delayed
THE CASE against a woman charged with embezzlement, fraud and theft has been continued until the end of the month.
Sixty-four-year- old Flora MacPherson of 78 Glenkingie Street, Caol – who was injured in a chainsaw attack last year – appeared in Fort William Sheriff court on Friday April 28.
Solicitor Gerry Sweeney asked for the case to be reheard closer to the trial date of May 29 due to outstanding medical issues.
Mr Sweeney said there were physical health issues as well as psychiatric health issues which could have a bearing on his client’s fitness for trial.
The diet was continued to May 25 and bail was continued.
