KILMARTIN House Museum is looking for volunteers to carry out market research as part of its re- development project.

This will involve talking to visitors and asking a questions on a visitor exit survey. The data gathered will help test the proposals for activities and interpretation for the new re- developed museum.

This may prompt questions about the re- development project so the volunteers would need to learn the background and proposed changes to the museum.

The role also includes researching marketing opportunities to boost fundraising for the project. For more details contact cameron@kilmartin.org

The museum is also looking for six individuals who live in Kilmartin, Ford and Glassary who would be willing to take part in an research project led by David Atherton on behalf of Aberdeen University.

The project aims to record information from the group including where they originate from, what they currently do and what their aspirations are for the future. Tea and cakes will be provided.

Meetings are planned for the afternoons of May 17, 18 and 19 in the museum library.
