Wrestling event to be held in Oban on May 18

-

An American-style wrestling event is coming to Oban next week.

The World Wide Wrestling League is bringing its top stars to the Corran Halls on May 18 at 6.30pm.

At the event, wrestler Mike Musso will get the chance to avenge the promotion after his opponent Mackie took The World Wide Wrestling League to court on the ITV Show Judge Rinder.

Mackie, who was suspended for terrifying fans, said his suspension was unjustified and unsuccessfully claimed a loss of earnings.

Musso has taken it upon himself to stand up for the integrity of the wrestling promotion and its fans by vowing to put an end to Mackie’s tirade personally.

Also in action will be the popular Irish women’s star, and current W3L women’s champion Leah Owens who will do battle with former W3L women’s champion Sara.

Former tag team champions will also collide in Oban as Games N’ Gaines (Kevin Williams and Jason Reed) tackle the Noble Lions (Johnny Lions and Lucian Maynard Smith).

Doors open at 6.30pm with the first match set to take to the ring at 7pm. Tickets are currently on sale from www.W3LWrestling.com and the Corran Halls box office priced £13, £11 and £ 37 for a family of four.
