Vikings plunder to win their own Dalriada

MINI RUGBY teams from around Argyll gathered at Etive Vikings RFC Taynuilt pitches on Sunday in the latest Dalraida mini festival. Oban Lorne RFC, Isle of Mull RFC and mid Argyll RFC all attended the event along with highland visitors Lochaber RFC.

Congratuat­ions to Etive Vikings RFC who were unbeaten on the day in both age groups.

The standard of rugby on show was fantastic, proving that the hard work of the volunteer coaches around the clubs is having a big effect in the developmen­t of the young players.

Oban Lorne host the last festival of the season at Glencruitt­en on Sunday May 28.
