Eagle carries off lamb at North Connel

A SEA EAGLE carrying off a lamb was captured on camera by a North Connel woman. Rosie Robinson sent the pictures to The Oban Times and, after verification, the sea eagle can be seen carrying a lamb, and perhaps something else in its mouth. Ms Robinson said: ‘I took a photograph on Sunday of a white-tailed sea eagle carrying a lamb and being chased by a buzzard. ‘ They flew over our garden in North Connel. The focus was not clear as they were high up and I had to zoom in as they were flying, but one photograph clearly shows detail- it seems to have something in its mouth too.’
