Pleased to prove my doubters wrong

Sir, May I say a huge thank you to everyone who voted for me in the local election. Our new intake of members and our veterans were a terrific help during this election as was my local association and family. I could not have done it without you all.

I was told by many separatists that I had no chance of winning and that I was wasting my time. I’m proud to have proven them wrong.

With an increase of nearly 100 votes on my result last time, I have been elected as your councillor for the Kintyre and the Islands ward. I will fight hard to see our roads and infrastructure improved across our ward. I will strive to serve and represent all of my council ward not just the people who share my political views.
