Caol school celebrates ‘momentous’ year

-

CAOL Primary School pupils and staff have been celebrating a momentous year when they moved to a new campus.

The school put on a fundraising day to raise money for school transport and to donate to charities.

Head teacher Steven Hamilton told the Lochaber Times: ‘Caol primary’s fundraiser was a celebration of the team work involved in our momentous year moving to our new campus.

‘Pupils took part in team-building activities which challenged them physically, mentally and socially.’

Activities were run by school staff Mrs Cairns, PE teacher, Alan Gray, Eden Court Outreach Worker, and support from Sports Coaching and Leadership S2 pupils from Lochaber High School.

Steven added: ‘It was a fantastic day, full of collaboration, fun and laughter helped by lovely weather and positive attitudes all round. Many thanks to our families and community partners for supporting us. We are still counting the money raised so don’t have a grand total yet.’
