Storas: a journey in music and song
MEMBERS of Oban Gaelic Choir are rehearsing for a performance that promises to be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to hear Argyll songs, sung by Argyll artists, in the Corran Halls. Storas will be a celebration of music and song celebrating the riches of Argyll bards.
Accompanied by some of Scotland’s finest musicians, Oban Gaelic Choir, conducted by musician and composer Sileas Sinclair, will take the audience on a musical journey not to be missed.
The event will take place on Thursday June 8 at 7.30pm in the Corran Halls, Oban.
Guest artists will include guitarist Finlay Wells, piper Lorne MacDougall, fiddler Archie MaAllister and piper Angus MacColl.
