Storas: a journey in music and song

MEMBERS of Oban Gaelic Choir are rehearsing for a performanc­e that promises to be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunit­y to hear Argyll songs, sung by Argyll artists, in the Corran Halls. Storas will be a celebratio­n of music and song celebratin­g the riches of Argyll bards.

Accompanie­d by some of Scotland’s finest musicians, Oban Gaelic Choir, conducted by musician and composer Sileas Sinclair, will take the audience on a musical journey not to be missed.

The event will take place on Thursday June 8 at 7.30pm in the Corran Halls, Oban.

Guest artists will include guitarist Finlay Wells, piper Lorne MacDougall, fiddler Archie MaAllister and piper Angus MacColl.
