Work goes on to repair tower lights
ARGYLL and Bute Council has confirmed the lights on McCaig’s Tower are not working – but they will be fixed.
The lights were part of a publicly-funded project installed less than three years ago. When working, the tower lights up in different colours to support charities and organisations.
An Argyll and Bute Council spokesperson said: ‘We have an electrical design engineer available who will be working on a number of projects.
‘The lighting at McCaig’s Tower has been prioritised and we intend having the tower illuminated once again in the near future. We thank the public for their understanding.’
