Benderloch

LORN Show is taking place on Saturday August 5, at Tralee Beach, Benderloch.

Attractions this year Qwak Commandos, Scotty’s Circus workshop, dog show and agility course, Argyll Car Club, Argyll RDA Driving Group’s carriage rides, Oban Classic Car Club and vintage tractors.

There is a horticultural section this year and schedules are available be emailing musdale@btinternet.com, or by calling 01631770228. Schedules will be sent out shortly to all exhibitors already on mailing list.

The judges for this year’s show are:

Blackface and junior section – John Murray, Crossflat, Muirkirk, Ayrshire.

Cross-sheep section – Iain MacInnes, Ruaig Farm, Isle of Tiree.

Highland cattle – Ron Fergie, Knockendon Farm, Dalry, Ayrshire.

Pure and cross cattle – Pat Boyd, Drumaglea, Cornaigmore, Isle of Tiree.

Dogs – Judith Boyd, Drumaglea, Cornaigmore, Isle of Tiree.

Poultry – William Neilson, 27 Cruachan Cottages, Taynuilt.

Home industries an handicrafts – Alison McCorquodale, Tigh Folla, Appin.

Horticulture – May MacKenzie, 9 Camus Road, Dunbeg.
