BETWEEN 3pm on Sunday June 4 and 9am on Monday June 5, a red and black EFCO petrol lawn mower was stolen from the garden of a house near the Kilchrenan Road in Taynuilt. Police are investigat­ing the incident and are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with any informatio­n to contact them. ABOUT 5.30pm on Wednesday June 7, on Sinclair Drive, Oban, a man aged 35 was stopped and searched by police. The man was allegedly found to be in possession of a small amount of heroin. The man was charged with the offences and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal. ABOUT 9pm on Wednesday June 7, a flat in Miller Road, Oban, was searched by police and a small quantity of heroin was allegedly found. The occupier, a 32-year- old man, was arrested and charged with alleged possession of drugs and supplying drugs. A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal. BETWEEN 4pm on Monday June 5 and 11.30am on Wednesday June 7, at Stevenson Street, Oban, a black car was damaged by having the roof dented. Police are investigat­ing and are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with any informatio­n to contact them. ABOUT 2am on Sunday June 11, in George Street, Oban, a woman was allegedly assaulted by another woman. Police are investigat­ing the incident and are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with any informatio­n to contact them. ABOUT 12.20pm on Sunday June 11, a house in Lochnell Road, Oban, was searched by police and a small cannabis cultivatio­n was allegedly found. The occupiers, a man aged 34 and a woman aged 37, were charged with cultivatin­g and supplying cannabis. A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
