Schools have sprinklers fitted

SPRINKLER systems and non- combustible cladding have been fitted in high schools being built in Campbeltown and Oban.

A spokesman for Argyll and Bute Council said: ‘The exter- nal cladding used in the new Oban High and Campbeltown Grammar School buildings is a non- combustible metal panel. The new schools will have internal alarm and sprinkler systems and multiple escape routes.’
