PHILIP Murphy leads the first round of the club championship with a score of 67. Martin Rae and Graham MacColl are two shots off the lead with scores of 69.

In the first round of the George Smith Trophy, Donald McGill leads with a score of 79-20 = 59, followed by Ian Harris, Andrew McHardy, Martin Rae and Graham MacColl with net scores of 64.

Neil Armour and Bunty Menassa retained the McVitie Price Trophy on Sunday with a score of 90-22 = 68, Diane Colewell and Steven Murphy were runners-up with a score of 81-9 =72.

The Argyll and Bute handicap championship takes place on Saturday.
