OVERNIGHT on June 16-17 an attempted theft took place at Mallaig boatyard. The tea hut was entered and various items removed and recovered elsewhere, and a boat was entered. Anyone who saw any thing suspicious is asked to call Fort William or Mallaig police stations on 101.

Between June 12 and 14, items of clothing were stolen from a laundry room in Lochaline. Any information should be reported to Fort William or Strontian police stations.

Sometime between June 12 and 13 a new shelter at the Ballachulish Quarry was vandalised. Any information should be reported to Fort William or Glencoe police stations.
