Poly­tun­nel dam­aged

Be­tween 4pm on June 16 and 9am on June 19, a poly­tun­nel at Glen­cruit­ten Hos­tel, Dal­in­tart Drive, Oban, was dam­aged by hav­ing the sides cut open.

Care­less driv­ing

About 9.30pm on June 23, on the road be­tween Kil­more and Muas­dale, a col­li­sion oc­curred be­tween a blue- coloured Ford Fi­esta and a red- coloured Skoda Fabia, sub­se­quently a 17-year old­man was charged with al­leged care­less driv­ing. No per­sons were in­jured and a re­port will be submitted to the Procu­ra­tor Fis­cal.

As­sault and van­dal­ism

About 10.45am on June 23, fol­low­ing a re­port of a man be­hav­ing in an abu­sive man­ner and dam­ag­ing a door in Soroba Road, Oban, a 17-year- old man was de­tained. The man was later ar­rested and charged with al­leged abu­sive be­hav­ior, van­dal­ism and as­sault­ing woman on an ear­lier date. He was held for court and a re­port was submitted to the Procu­ra­tor Fis­cal.

Cul­pa­ble and reck­less con­duct

About 12.45am on June 24, in Ar­gyll Square, Oban, a 27-year- old man was ar­rested for al­legedly reck­lessly throw­ing a glass bot­tle which smashed, nar­rowly miss­ing peo­ple walk­ing by. The man was charged and a re­port submitted to the Procu­ra­tor Fis­cal.

Theft of bi­cy­cle

Be­tween June 22 and 23, at River­side Court, Tober­mory, a blue coloured child’s Voodo Zaka BMX bike was stolen. Po­lice are ap­peal­ing for in­for­ma­tion.

Theft from mo­tor ve­hi­cle

Be­tween June 23 and 25, at the Coun­cil Yard, Mill­park Road, Oban, a camper van was bro­ken into and items stolen.
