Polytunnel damaged

Between 4pm on June 16 and 9am on June 19, a polytunnel at Glencruitt­en Hostel, Dalintart Drive, Oban, was damaged by having the sides cut open.

Careless driving

About 9.30pm on June 23, on the road between Kilmore and Muasdale, a collision occurred between a blue- coloured Ford Fiesta and a red- coloured Skoda Fabia, subsequent­ly a 17-year oldman was charged with alleged careless driving. No persons were injured and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

Assault and vandalism

About 10.45am on June 23, following a report of a man behaving in an abusive manner and damaging a door in Soroba Road, Oban, a 17-year- old man was detained. The man was later arrested and charged with alleged abusive behavior, vandalism and assaulting woman on an earlier date. He was held for court and a report was submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

Culpable and reckless conduct

About 12.45am on June 24, in Argyll Square, Oban, a 27-year- old man was arrested for allegedly recklessly throwing a glass bottle which smashed, narrowly missing people walking by. The man was charged and a report submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

Theft of bicycle

Between June 22 and 23, at Riverside Court, Tobermory, a blue coloured child’s Voodo Zaka BMX bike was stolen. Police are appealing for informatio­n.

Theft from motor vehicle

Between June 23 and 25, at the Council Yard, Millpark Road, Oban, a camper van was broken into and items stolen.
