Caol gala queen Ellie enjoys royal welcome

-

CAOL gala queen Ellie Cameron and her two attendants enjoyed a right royal welcome at the weekend.

The first-year pupil at Lochaber High School had attendants Millie Henderson, 11, and Keira Conn, eight, by her side as she carried out her royal duties on Saturday June 24.

The girls were driven around Caol before heading to the gala, where Ellie was crowned queen. As queen, Ellie handed out the Davie McCook Citizenship Award to joint winners Kirsty Kyle and Pamela Hendry.

Organsier Kirsty Kyle told the Lochaber Times: ‘The girls had a great day and really enjoyed themselves. They looked lovely.’

Joyce Fraser of Caol Cuts styled the girls’ hair for the event and McDonald Brothers supplied the girls with their lovely flowers.
