FORT William Bowling Club has held its first evening competition of the season.

Despise being close to the longest day, wet weather brought the darkness in early and the finalists struggled as the light faded.

Winners of the Alistair Young balloted pairs were Eddie Downs and Bill Gibbons and the presentation was made by Kevin Douglas.
