Glencruitten

GRAHAM Whitelaw won the senior championship by four shots on Saturday at Glencruitten with scores of 58, 69 = 127. Philip Murphy was runner-up with a score of 67, 64 = 131.

In the Glencruitten mixed open on Sunday, the winners were Steven Murphy and Diane Colewell with a score of 65- 8 = 57.

Runners-up were Donald MacLennan and Louise MacLeod with a score of 79-18 = 61.

In the ladies’ handicap championship second round, Kirsty MacKenzie had a score of 87-24 = 63, followed by Mary Plunkett on 95-26 = 69 and Christine Cameron with a score of 94-20 = 74.

On Saturday the second round of the George Smith Trophy takes place alongside the championship second round.
