Saints prepare for the new season

AFTER the exertions of last Saturday’s D& K Cup tournament, Oban Saints players are given a break with no game this weekend but they will return to serious pre-season training on Wednesday July 19 at Oban Lorne Rugby Club, starting at 6.30pm. A number of senior players were missing from the tournament squad due to injury and holidays but hopefully most will be available for training and the pre-season friendly games at home to Vale of Leven Juniors on Saturday July 22; South Lochaber Thistle on Saturday July 29; Lochgilphead Red Star on Wednesday August 2 and the Argyll and Bute Cup tournament in Lochgilphead on Saturday August 5.
