Prize guys are given awards

DUN­BEG Pri­mary School’s an­nual end- of-ses­sion ser­vice and pre­sen­ta­tion of prizes was held in the vil­lage church on Fri­day June 30 and was con­ducted by the Rev Ge­orge Cringles, who very kindly came out of re­tire­ment for the day.

Prizes were pre­sented by Keira MacIn­tyre, a for­mer pupil who had worked with at the school this ses­sion as part of Oban High School’s Path­ways pro­gramme. Re­tir­ing head teacher Sine MacVicar said: ‘ We wish her all the very best as she moves on to Glas­gow Univer­sity in Septem­ber. We are very proud of Keira.’

Sine MacVicar taught three gen­er­a­tions of one fam­ily. She is with James Mac­Don­ald, his chil­dren Vicky and Jamie, and grand­chil­dren Car­ley and Chloe.
