Flamenco guitarist is to entertain at Craignish Village hall
CRAIGNISH Village Hall is only a few months into its 2017/ 18 arts programme but is already proving to be one of Argyll’s top creative venues.
Following recent packed- out concerts, the music continues at Ardfern on Tuesday August 1 when flamenco jazz-fusion guitarist Eduardo Niebla makes a special appearance at Craignish on his tour.
In a career spanning four decades, Eduardo has collaborated with musicians across the globe including the late Lol Coxhill and pop musicians George Michael and Craig David.
As well as this, Eduardo has been acclaimed as one of the most potent forces in flamenco jazz- fusion.
His highly lyrical style, with explora- tions into Indian, Arabic and classical music, has resulted in the most electrifying and poignantly poetic guitar playing on the world circuit.
His concert appearances have included the Queen Elizabeth Hall, London, the Olympic Games in Greece and Glastonbury, as well as extensive concert tours around the world.
