Drivers face delays at Ballachulish

MOTORISTS using the A82 just south of Ballachulish Bridge are being warned to expect disruption next week.

Resurfacing works are scheduled to start on Wednesday July 19 and will take up to three days to complete.

The improvement works are scheduled to take place between 7am and 7pm each day, with the project expected to be completed before the weekend.

The A82 will remain open throughout the improvements, but a 10mph convoy system of traffic management will be in place to allow the works to be carried out safely for the protection of the motorists as well as road workers.

The convoy system will be removed outside of working hours though a temporary speed restriction of 30mph will remain.
