View from the Chamber

-

DID YOU know the Chamber runs events that welcome new businesses to the community?

Were you aware members receive an online listing (with a link) to help interested parties find your business in searches?

Both of those opportunities alone could give your company a significant boost.

Schools out… but the Chamber’s in with a couple of new faces to welcome to the team. Lisa Wharton and Hannah Thomson have joined us as a job-share team working on membership and events.

Lisa takes up the reigns of membership and events officer, while Fiona McCormick takes family time out to welcome young McCormick number two. Lisa is an experienced marketing professional with a background in tourism, heritage and education, as well as communications for corporate clients including Chamber members the Underwater Centre, Lochaber Geopark and the Forestry Commission.

Lisa has supported the Fort William Mountain Festival as programme editor and producer.

Hannah adds much-needed administrative support to the Chamber’s events programme. Having completed a BA (Hons) degree at West Highland College, Hannah brings an enthusiastic and energetic spirit and will be a popular point of contact in the Chamber office.

New start enterprises looking to expand their business network are encouraged to contact either Lisa or Hannah for a free invite to a Chamber event.
