Off-road offences

ABOUT 2pm on Monday July 10, on a public footpath near Dalintart Drive, Oban, an offroad quad bike and an off-road motorcycle were stopped and two riders, men aged 19 and 28, were charged with riding the vehicles on the path, having no insurance and not having the correct driving licence.

Both men were also issued with anti-social behaviour warnings. A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.

The 19-year- old man was also charged with possession of a small amount of cannabis, and was issued with a recordable police warning in relation to this.
