Craobh Haven pub up for top award

THE LORD of the Isles pub at Craobh Haven has been shortliste­d in the gastro pub of the year category in the the Food Awards Scotland.

‘LOTI’ as the pub is known, will find out if it will be crowned winner at a ceremony at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Glasgow on Monday August 14.

Wil Craig, the owner of LOTI, is delighted to be nominated for such a prestigiou­s award and said he understand­s the importance of promoting food in Argyll.

‘Food is our passion here at the Lord of the Isles,’ he said. ‘ We want our customers to come here and experience West Coast hospitalit­y at its best.

‘ We want to be able to offer a firstclass dining experience in a beautiful part of Scotland, our customers leaving with a positive impression of what Argyll has to offer. By working together and setting the bar high, Argyll will continue to be a favourite for tourists from all parts of the globe.
