PDA DIPLOMA IN GAELIC MEDIA

On this course, you will have the opportunity to develop a wide range of media skills required for direct entry to the industry. You will develop your written and spoken Gaelic skills both at college and in the workplace. You will also benefit from the input and support of broadcast specialists from various fields of expertise and from the excellent media facilities at Sabhal Mòr Ostaig.

The course is delivered full-time, over two years with the first year being college-based and following this, trainees will spend a further 10 months on work placement with an established broadcaster or independent production company. The Diploma has a very high employment rate, with over 70% of students who completed this course still working in the media industry today!
