IF YOU’VE just received your exam results and are thinking about life after school, remember that we’re here to help. Your local centre is open next week so come along to speak to us about what courses and options are available to you.

Whatever your particular interest – from maritime skills to hairdressi­ng, hospitalit­y management or primary teaching – Argyll College UHI has it covered.

We have more than 200 courses to choose from – at levels ranging from National 2 right through to BA (Hons) or BSc (Hons) – there’s something for everyone.

So if you want to boost your existing qualifi cations, you’re looking for a change of direction or you simply want to make the most of the opportunit­y to learn, achieve and advance while in the beautiful surroundin­gs of Argyll, why not visit your local Argyll College UHI learning centre and fi nd out what’s on offer.

With more than 80 full- time courses starting this September, principal Fraser Durie said now is the time to look into the opportunit­ies provided by the college. ‘ Last year more than 1,600 people chose to study with us, which shows not just the importance of Argyll College UHI to the local communitie­s it serves but also the variety of subjects and courses on offer,’ he said.

‘ We’re constantly developing our curriculum to ensure it best refl ects the demands of our local population, and have added several new courses this year which we believe will be popular additions to an already exciting range of options.

‘ We now have a huge range of courses available covering an array of subjects.

‘ I’d like to think there’s something of interest for everyone, regardless of age or background.

‘ National statistics published earlier this year show that more Argyll College UHI students than ever before are successful­ly completing their courses, and we’re delighted that so many are able to move onwards and upwards, whether that be in terms of progressin­g to other qualifi cations or in terms of moving into employment.

‘ We look forward to welcoming a new cohort of students in September. We’re confi dent that choosing to study at Argyll College UHI is a decision they won’t regret.’
