THE WINNERS OF THE FOOD AWARDS SCOTLAND 2017 ARE ANNOUNCED

THE FOURTH annual Food Awards Scotland welcomed 300 guests at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Glasgow on Monday, August 14 in a celebratio­n of the Scottish food industry.

The Food Awards Scotland recognise the success of local profession­als and establishm­ents. The winners are a true reflection of high standard and customer service as they are chosen by members of the general public.

The black tie event was hosted by radio presenter Gina McKie. She welcomed on stage talented individual­s and businesses, acknowledg­ed for constantly delivering high-quality food products and impeccable service to their customers.

Several of the awards were split into local regions to ensure the diverse range of businesses from across Scotland are recognised for their hard work.

Irfan Younis, CEO of organisers Creative Oceanic, said: ‘We are honoured and delighted to have such great finalists and winners representi­ng the Scottish food industry and enhancing its reputation nationally and internatio­nally.

‘These were the fourth annual Food Awards Scotland. They are a true reflection of the talent in Scotland and we want to make sure that the hard work and determinat­ion of Scottish food profession­als don’t go unnoticed.

‘We were very happy to welcome the guests and celebrate with them. Congratula­tions to all finalists and winners.’

In addition, the awards supported the Well Foundation and the charity raised funds for their project.
