At Strathallan, our levels of participation in sport are extremely high in every year because we believe everyone should have the chance to play in a school team. Whether it’s rugby or hockey, tennis or fencing, we help our students discover their abilities. Our excellent facilities and experienced coaches combine to create an enhanced sporting programme for every level, from beginner to international athlete. Performance plays a major part in life here at Strathallan, and we are constantly encouraging students to expand their horizons and open their minds to a world of creativity. Over 50 per cent of students play a musical instrument, and with more than 25 ensembles and lots of performance opportunities, from drama and musical theatre to informal concerts, every student has the chance to discover their own particular passion.
In our Middle School, Riley, pupils have dedicated primary teachers and subject specialists from the senior part of the school, meaning academic skills develop from an early age. There’s a huge range of facilities available, and the chance to try out new things, which we highly recommend.
At Strathallan, we are committed to recognising and rewarding tremendous talent from across the globe. That’s why, every year, we offer a limited number of prestigious scholarships across academics, sports and the arts. Successful candidates who demonstrate a highlevel of achievement and potential will be honoured with a place and awarded a remission on fees. We also offer a number of means-tested bursaries giving every talented child the opportunity to access our education.
