Theft of vehicle

A MITSUBISHI Delica was stolen from Dunollie Road, Oban, at 11.45pm on Sunday February 25.

The vehicle was later found crashed in Glencoe and a man, aged 41 was arrested and charged with theft, driving without a licence and no insurance. The man was held for court and a report was submitted to the procurator fiscal.

Dangerous driving

POLICE received reports of a blue Audi RS6 car being driven dangerousl­y by overtaking another vehicle and causing an oncoming vehicle to brake sharply to avoid a collision on the A85 near Dalmally at 6.15pm on Monday February 26.

Disorderly conduct

AT 11pm on Friday March 2, following a report of a man and a woman behaving in a disorderly manner in a pub in Oban and then fighting outside, a man, 27, and a woman, 23, were arrested. Both were charged with the offences and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.

Robbery

TWO MEN forced entry to a flat in Alma Crescent, Oban, and threatened a man inside, at 11pm on Friday March 2. The pair stole two mobile phones. Subsequent­ly, on Sunday March 4, two men aged 42 and 20 were arrested and charged with the offence. The men were held for court and a report was submitted to the procurator fiscal.

Abusive behaviour

A MAN, aged 24, was arrested for behaving in an abusive manner at 12.50am on Saturday March 3, in a flat in Scalpay Terrace, Oban.

The man was charged with the offence and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.

Man arrested

AT 12.25am on Sunday March 4, in George Street, Oban, a 21-year-old man was arrested and charged with urinating in the street and behaving in an abusive manner.

The man was later issued with recorded police warning.

Vehicle damaged

SOMETIME between noon on Saturday March 3 and 9am on Sunday March 4, in Breadalban­e Lane, Tobermory, a window in a white Volkswagen Caddy van was smashed.
