THE CLIMBING frame at Tiree Community Business Centre, Crossapol, was damaged sometime between noon on Friday April 6 and noon on Sunday April 8.

Co-op shopliftin­g

A MAN allegedly stole groceries from the Co-op in Tobermory, Mull, sometime between 1pm and 2pm on Monday April 9.

Theft of back pack

A BACK pack was stolen from the common close at West Bay Flats, Oban, sometime between 5pm and 5.30pm on Tuesday April 3.

Awning damaged

TWO AWNING ropes on a caravan at The Camping and Caravan Site at Barcaldine were cut sometime between 5pm on Saturday April 7 and 4pm on Monday April 9.

Van stolen

A WHITE Renault Kangoo van, registrati­on mark SY64VBX, was stolen from a building site at Lochavulli­n Road, Oban, sometime between Monday March 12 and Saturday March 17.

Careless driving

At 12.15pm on Thursday April 12, on the A816 two miles south of Kilninver, an articulate­d lorry crashed off the road. The male driver of the lorry, aged 45, was charged with careless driving. The driver suffered minor injuries as a result of the accident. No other vehicles were involved. A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.

Drunk driver

A 24-YEAR-OLD man was stopped by police while driving his car on Soroba Road, Oban, at 3.05am on Thursday April 15. The man provided a positive breath test, was arrested and a blood sample was taken for analysis.

Sheep killed

A ROTTWEILLE­R-TYPE dog was seen chasing sheep at 2pm on Thursday April 12 in a field at McKelvie Heights, Glenshella­ch Road, Oban. Two sheep were found dead and another sheep was injured.
