Abusive behaviour

A MAN, aged 22, was arrested at 4.15pm on Wednesday April 25, in Columba Court, Oban, for behaving in an abusive manner.

He was charged and held for court and a report was submitted to the procurator fiscal.

Vehicle damaged

SOMETIME between 8pm on Wednesday April 25 and 3am on Thursday April 26, the bodywork of a white Mercedes Sprinter van was dented in Corran Esplanade, Oban.

Drunk driver

AT 1AM on Thursday April 26, in Albany Street, Oban, a man, aged 42, was arrested for drink driving. He was charged and a report has been submitted to the procurator fiscal.

Drugs discovered

A MAN, aged 49, who was stopped and searched by police at 1.40pm on Friday April 27, on Soroba Road, Oban, was found in possession of heroin. He was charged and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.

Police assaulted

A WOMAN has been arrested and charged after seriously assaulting a man at 9.30pm on Friday April 27, in Lismore Crescent, Oban. The woman, aged 45, has also been charged with assaulting a police officer. She was held for court and a report was submitted to the procurator fiscal.

Car damaged

THE BODYWORK of a Dacia Duster car was dented and scraped by another vehicle sometime between 2.10pm and 3.10pm on Saturday April 28, in the car park at Tweedale Street, Oban. The vehicle which caused the damage failed to stop and report the incident.

Driver, 17, charged

THE DRIVER of a blue Renault Kadjar car, which crashed into a tree at 1.20am on Sunday April 29, on the A828 at Connel, was traced by police and arrested and charged.

The woman, aged 17, failed to provide a breath test.

Checks revealed the woman had taken the vehicle without permission, had driven carelessly and had no licence or insurance.

The woman was arrested, charged and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.

Sheds broken into

ITEMS were stolen from six garden sheds in Millpark Terrace, Oban, after they were broken into sometime between 9.30pm and 10.30pm on Sunday April 29.

Speeding motorists

ON SATURDAY April 28, on the A82, near Bridge of Orchy, a man, aged 28, was stopped for speeding. He was charged and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.

A woman, aged 60, was stopped for speeding on Sunday April 29, on the A85, near Tyndrum. She was charged and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
