The results are just in from the latest online promotional campaign run through the ‘Outdoor Capital’ website and social media channels and we’re delighted to say that it made a huge impact with our key visitor markets and exceeded all targets for the project.

More than 60 short videos were produced in partnership with VisitScotland to highlight the vast range of experiences on offer in Lochaber.

Short, snappy and engaging, the videos encouraged viewers to picture themselves having a range of adventures from sailing and skiing to visiting historic sites and trying their hand at gin-making.

The Outdoor Capital of the UK has a huge online following and also promotes member businesses directly by e-newsletter to more than two and a half thousand people who have opted to receive it each month. That’s an impressive audience reach for local tourism businesses.
