Entries sought for awards
The Scottish Council for Development and Industry (SCDI) is seeking entries for the annual Business Excellence Awards which recognise the achievement of businesses across the Highlands and Islands.
The awards will be presented at SCDI’s annual Highlands and Islands dinner on Friday September 7, hosted by comedian Milton Jones.
Award categories include the following:
Crown Estate Award for Excellence in a Marine Business; Highlands and Islands Enterprise Award for Excellence in Research and Innovation; the Liberty British Aluminium Award for Outstanding Business Ambassador; the Scottish Environment Protection Agency Award for Excellence in Environmental Sustainability; SCDI Highlands and Islands Chairman’s Award for Outstanding Business Achievement; Award for Excellence in People Development.
Fraser Grieve, SCDI’s Highlands and Islands director, said: ‘We are fortunate to have some exceptional companies based in and working across the Highlands and Islands, and these awards are a way of recognising the talents and achievement of some of our greatest successes over the past year. I encourage businesses and organisations of all shapes and sizes to apply.’
