Between 8pm on Sunday November 11 and 7.15am on Monday November
12, in Post Office Brae, Tobermory, a boat trailer was stolen from a driveway and allowed to roll down the hill where it collided with a wall and was damaged.
At about 3pm on Tuesday November 13, on Nelson Road, Oban, a man aged 50 was arrested for behaving in an abusive manner. He was charged and issued with a recorded police warning.
At about 1am on Wednesday November 14, in George Street, Oban, a 38-year-old man was issued with a recorded police warning for consuming alcohol in a public place.
At about 1.30am on Friday November 16, on George Street, Oban, a group of men assaulted another man. Police attended, arrested and later charged a man aged 30 with assault.
At about 7.50pm on Friday November 16, on the A85 near Taynuilt, a man aged 39 drove in excess of the speed limit. Police stopped and charged the driver with the offence and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
At about 11.25pm on Friday November 16, on Corran Esplanade, Oban, a man aged 28 behaved in a threatening and abusive manner. He resisted arrest and struggled with police. The man was also in possession of a small quantity of cannabis. He was charged and a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
At about 11.50pm on Friday November 16, on Stevenson Street, Oban, two men aged 18 and 20 were arrested for behaving in a racially abusive and threatening manner. The men were charged, held for court and a report was submitted to the procurator fiscal.
At about 1.15am on Saturday November 17, in Stevenson Street, Oban, police were dealing with an unrelated matter when a man aged 38 behaved in a threatening and abusive manner. Police detained the man who resisted arrest and struggled with police. A second man aged 37 then obstructed the police in the course of their duty. Both were arrested and charged. A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
At about 6am on Saturday November 17, within Oban Police Station, a man aged 38 assaulted a police officer. He was arrested, charged, held for court and a report was submitted to the procurator fiscal.
Police are investigating a complaint from a member of the public about a blue Mini Cooper being driven in a careless manner in Stafford Street, Oban, about 2.10pm on Saturday November 17.
Between 10.30am and 4.30pm on Saturday November 17, in the Free Church car park, Star Brae, Oban, a window of a Vauxhall Corsa was smashed and a rucksack containing gym kit was stolen.
At about 11.10pm on Saturday November 17, on George Street, Oban, a man aged 19 was stopped by police and found in possession of a small amount of cocaine. The man was charged and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
About 1.45am on Sunday November 18, in Main Street, Tobermory, a car was stopped and a 41-year-old man was arrested for driving while under the influence of alcohol. He was charged and a report has been submitted to the procurator fiscal.
