MACDONALD - The family of the late Angus Macdonald (Moy) would like to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for the support shown and their kind words and cards. The family would also like to thank Mr Corbett for the service, Mr Donald McQuarrie for his tribute in English and his heartfelt Gaelic prayer. Also a thank you to Macdonald Bros, Caol Community Centre, John McLellan funeral directors for making such a sad time a little easier with their profession­alism shown. Final thanks to all who donated so generously, the amount of £530.36 which was collected and donated to Uist and Barra Hospital patient care. McCONNACHI­E - Ali, Andrea and family would like to thank everyone for the overwhelmi­ng amount of support shown following their heart-breaking loss of Ally (Jnr). Thank you to all the staff at the Belford Hospital for the care and attention they gave to Ally. Grateful thanks to Alan Smurthwait­e for his personal attention to detail in the ceremony for Ally. Thanks to Caol Community Centre for the excellent catering provided, special thanks to John and Linnie for the care and attention to detail of the funeral arrangemen­ts to meet all our requests and make a harrowing time a lot more bearable. Finally thanks to everyone who came along on the day to pay their respects the sum of £392.92 was collected in aid of CAU Ward Belford Hospital.

MILLER - David, Alastair and Elsie would like to express their sincere appreciati­on to family and friends for their support and kindness shown to them on the sad loss of George. Special thanks to the President and members of the Rotary Club of Oban for their frequent visits to George, both in hospital and in his home during his long illness. Grateful thanks to our community nurses and Carr Gomm carers who brought cheerfulne­ss along with their profession­alism to George’s home. To the Macmillan nurses, the staff of Lorn and Islands Hospital, we extend our sincere thanks. Thanks to Rev. Dugald Cameron for his guidance, church services and at the graveside. To D&A Munn, Funeral Directors for their profession­al and dignified services. Donations to the Macmillan Day Bed Unit at Oban Hospital amounted to £415. NICOLSON - Joan. We would especially like to thank Macmillan Day Bed Unit and Gill Fairclough for the care and compassion shown to our mother. Reverend James Beaton and D&A Munn for their kind support and guidance. May she rest in peace. Bayley, who passed away on March 19, 2015 leaving those privileged to know her bereft, but ever more devotedly remembered.
