Between 6pm on Sunday September 29 and 9am on Monday September 30, outside the Royal Mail delivery Office, Charlotte Street, Bowmore, a Royal Mail van was damaged by having the passenger side wing mirror knocked off.

About 2.10am on Sunday September 29, on Main Street, Bowmore, a collision occurred between a red Vauxhall Corsa and a parked car. On Saturday October 12, a man aged 43 was charged with dangerous driving. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

Between 7.40pm on Sunday September 29 and 1.25m on Monday September 30, on School Street, Bowmore, a black Ford car was damaged by being struck by another vehicle which failed to stop.

About 5.20pm on Monday October 7, in Quarry Road, Oban, a man aged 28 breached bail conditions by approachin­g a woman. Police arrested and charged the man who was held for court. A report was submitted to the procurator fiscal.

About 1.55am on Friday October 11, in Scalpay Terrace, Oban, police were called to a disturbanc­e. Subsequent­ly a man aged 31 was arrested for allegedly behaving in an abusive manner with an axe and a sword. He was charged, held for court and a report submitted to the fiscal.

About 5.15pm on Sunday October 13, on the A85 near Pennyfuir, Oban, a vehicle was stopped and two men were searched. A man aged 23 was found to have cannabis and was issued with a recorded police warning.

About 10.50pm on Friday October 11, in Glenmore Road, Oban, police were called to a disturbanc­e. A man aged 46 was arrested for allegedly assaulting a woman and another man. He was charged and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.

About 4.10pm on Saturday October 12, on the B8073 near Tobermory, police were called to a disturbanc­e. A man aged 23 was arrested for allegedly behaving in an abusive manner and being in possession of a knife. He was charged, held for court and a report was submitted to the procurator fiscal.
