Dalmally Golf Club prizegiving

-

A cold but sunny day on Sunday October 27 saw the conclusion to a successful season at Dalmally Golf Club.

A fun nine-hole mixed stableford with a twist preceded lunch and the annual prizegiving in the clubhouse.

As well as the competition winners, the club captain made presentations to Alison Livingstone who was retiring after 15 years as Ladies Handicap Secretary and the voluntary greens team Jim Livingstone, Billy McKay and Ewen Groat to acknowledge and thank them for their major contribution to the club. Graeme also thanked Etive Brown who was retiring as Ladies Match Secretary.

Graeme commented that the future of the club was assured with the new generation of players including Lewis MacMillan who won Most Promising Player and Andrew MacMillan who took the Junior Champion Trophy, along with dad James who won the Leisure Sport Trophy and the Club Championship (Handicap).

The prizegiving concluded with a fun ‘Nearest the Pin’ on the first hole with Ewen Groat narrowly pipping Alison Livingstone. Ewen generously donated the competition prize fund back to the club.
