886 bulls set for Stirling Bull Sales

United Auctions’ Stirling Bull Sales are set to host 886 bulls and females across seven pedigree breeds for show and sale at Stirling Agricultur­al Centre.

The event from Scotland’s leading livestock auctioneer­s will take place over two weeks from Sunday February 2 to Monday February 3 and continue from Sunday February 16 to Tuesday February 18.

The Stirling Bull Sales are supported by Galbraith, Scotland’s leading independen­t property consultanc­y.

Week one opens with Sunday judging of Aberdeen-Angus, Beef Shorthorn and Lincoln Red females and bulls on February 2 with their sales held the following day.

Monday February 3 also sees the pre-sale show of Limousin bulls in the morning with their sale in the afternoon.

Week two begins with pre-sale shows for Simmental females and bulls as well as Salers bulls on Sunday February 16.

Simmental females kick off the first sales of the day on Monday February 17 followed by Salers bulls. The Charolais breed shows start from noon in the exhibition hall with Simmental bulls going under the hammer in the sale ring at the same time.

The sales of Charolais bulls and females bring the event to a close on Tuesday February 18.
