New Scotland kit sponsor
The Camanachd Association has announced a new partnership with Macronstore Highlands which will supply new Scotland international kit for the next two years.
The new 2020 Scotland kit was unveiled at the Culloden Battlefield, Inverness on Friday January 31.
The partnership with Macronstore Highland secures a five-figure sponsorship fee over the next two seasons for the Camanachd Association, whilst also providing high-quality kit for the game’s top players at senior men, women, U21 and U17 level with long standing partners Mowi continuing as shinty/hurling/camogie international title sponsors.
The Camanachd Association join the list of sporting giants sponsored by Macron which includes S.S. Lazio and UEFA as well as Ross County Football Club.
As part of the sponsorship deal, Macronstore Highlands will provide competitive rates for all shinty clubs in the market for new club kit.
A Camanachd shop is also available online at Klasklothing.co.uk via shinty.com and in a store at Lotland Place, Inverness.
Linda Smith of Macronstore Highlands said: ‘When the Highland store for Macron was created, the manufacturer had never seen nor heard of shinty.
‘Over the past years, we have not only changed this but also shown a real commitment to all Camanachd clubs in the partnership announced today.

Camanachd Association vice president Steven MacKenzie said: ‘I’m delighted we’ve been able to reach an agreement with Macronstore Highlands, an Inverness-based company with strong shinty connections.’
