At last, we are fast approaching the end of 2020 and are very much looking forward to the new year with tentative hopes of a return to normality! While things are definitely different this year, one thing we can all rely on is our High Street bringing much needed festive cheer. We love our brilliant independent shops in Fort William and a walk through the town with all the glittering window displays is cheering on even the dreichest of days.

This will Christmas Bookshop be our fourth at The Highland and we have thrown ourselves into it with everything we have, filling the shelves with as many books, jigsaws, calendars and gifts as we possibly can. Whether you are looking for the newest blockbuster title, a unique find in our second-hand book room or even a gift voucher we feel sure you will find the perfect gift for your loved ones.

We are open seven days each week all the way up to Christmas Eve and, if you can’t make it to the shop, we are delivering locally and posting things out too. Our website is chock full of

Christmas book ideas and we are always ready to help if you can’t find exactly what you’re looking for.

While this year has been devastating to independent retail, we’ve been blown away by the support we have received. Thank you to every single one of you who have helped to get us through and a special thank you to our incredible, seemingly tireless Town Team who have been keeping our High Street beautiful despite the challenges. We wish you all a healthy and happy festive season and thank you for shopping local!
