Clean win for Oban laundry in super duck race

As reported in The Oban Times, Oban Rotary’s annual Duck Race was again a huge success raising in excess of £5,000 for local good causes.

Included in the race for the first time was the introduction of 50 ‘Super Ducks’ which were sponsored by-and-large by local concerns at £50 a duck.

The winning duck (No 23) was sponsored by Oban Quality Laundry and Dry Cleaners based in Tweeddale Street and their chosen local good cause/charity to receive the £250 prize was Oban’s MS Therapy Centre.
